Editorial Standards
Coupon sites have a trust problem. We built SaveCouponCode to fix it. Here is exactly how we verify codes, fact-check guides, and disclose affiliate relationships.

Our four pillars
Every code passes automated checkout simulations, community voting, and freshness signals before it ever appears on a store page. We do not list unverified codes.
Real shoppers report success or failure after every reveal. Their outcomes shape the health score you see on each code — recency and trust weighted.
Every editorial guide is reviewed by a member of our editorial team. Sources are linked. Last-updated dates are visible on every store page and seasonal hub.
Codes that stop working are removed within hours. Pages refresh hourly. Dead codes never earn a top position on a store page.
The workflow
Codes are submitted by our merchant partnerships, sourced from RSS feeds, or contributed by community verifiers. Every code enters the queue with a source tag.
Our headless checkout simulator runs each code against the merchant's cart flow hourly. Format errors, restrictions, and silent changes are flagged immediately.
When a code is revealed by a shopper, they can vote success or failure. Votes are weighted by trust score, recency, and screenshot evidence.
Featured codes, seasonal collections, and expert guides are reviewed by a named editor. Disclosures are added. Sources are cited inline.
Codes that fail their automated test for 24+ hours drop in rank or are removed. Readers see the live success rate and last-verified time on every card.
Our promises
The coupon industry has earned a reputation for dark patterns. SaveCouponCode exists to be the opposite.
We do not run fake countdowns, fake urgency, or fake expiring timers.
We do not show ads that look like coupon codes.
We do not buy or sell code data without merchant consent.
We disclose every affiliate relationship that earns us a commission.
We correct factual errors within 7 days of being told about them.
We label sponsored or partner content as such — never disguised as editorial.
